Breast Cancer Awareness Month

2048 × 1302This October we were proud to support the Carol Milgard Breast Center for breast cancer awareness month. For every test drive taken throughout our Harnish Auto Family dealerships, we donated to the Carol Milgard Breast Center on the customer’s behalf. With the help of our amazing staff and customers, we were able to donate over $24,000! The Carol Milgard Breast Center provides breast cancer screening and diagnostics to those in need, and we were so happy to have the opportunity to support this powerful cause within our community.

National Make-A-Dog's Day Adoption Event

Every October we look forward to Subaru Loves Pets Month. Over the years we have partnered with local shelter, Sunny Sky’s Animal Rescue, to help provide homes for some of their underdogs. Additionally, Subaru donates $100 to Sunny Sky’s for every pet adopted. This year we had the opportunity to host a Sunny Sky’s adoption event at our store to celebrate National Make-a-Dog’s Day. We couldn’t ask for a better partner, and we love being able to support the health and safety of our furry friends.

Permission to Start Dreaming Foundation

828 × 830Every year we get the opportunity to partner with The Permission to Start Dreaming Foundation. This foundation helps veterans in the Pacific Northwest get access to effective and long-term care for any post-traumatic stress they may be working through. We are able to be a part of not only Swing for a Soldier, but also Race for a Soldier and their yearly Prayer Breakfast. We love partnering with Leslie Mayne and the Permission to Start Dreaming Foundation and look forward to their events every year.

Win the Beast Bug

828 × 611This April we hosted our “Win the Beast Bug” event. Customers entered to win our iconic Volkswagen Beast Bug by purchasing raffle entries via Venmo. 100% of these proceeds went to the Puyallup Food Bank, who “strive to provide food to those in need”. The Puyallup Food Bank serves thousands every month and we are proud to support this great cause. We appreciate the opportunity to not only support our local community but to provide a special gift for a lucky winner! We are looking forward to similar events in future.
